  • Many resolutions fail because people set unrealistic goals. It is important to remain optimistic and realistic when setting goals and resolutions.

  • Small, sustainable changes to everyday behaviors often result in the most meaningful changes.

  • It is important to change your behaviour in order to support new goals and resolutions. This is often the part that gets overlooked.

  • Remain realistic when setting goals, having a “go big or go home” attitude  is not always the best way to approach resolutions.

  • Don’t give up. A positive and optimistic attitude combined with perseverance will go a long way toward achieving successful outcomes.
